Interior Decorating is specifically intended to please you! We start with a home tour and a priority list of what you would like to accomplish. One room, one floor, whole house - we can do it all. Together, we will create the home of your dreams!

From paint colour, wall paper, flooring choice, window treatments, furniture selection and placement, Artwork, and accessories... choosing the pieces that work... is my forte!

One thing never to be overlooked is proper lighting for your home. Task, ambient and overhead are the three basic lighting needs, and you will want to incorporate all of them into your home.

Task lighting is essential for kitchens and bathrooms.

Floor and low level ambient accent lamps will create that warm relaxing feeling to your home in the evening and grey winter days.

Overhead lighting is the standard way you will illuminate your home: mini pot lights continue to stay in style and are very attractive.

Having an objective pair of eyes, (hence the name Fresh Eyes) assist you in updating or redecorating your home can be one of the wisest choices you can make. I find many people have good taste, but lack the ability to pull it all together. i.e. Yes, that is a beautiful sofa but it's too big for your living room. Or, Yes, that pattern for drapery is nice, but too informal for this room...it may be better used in another room, or for throw pillows. You get the gist.

Knowing how to layer texture and colour is an art form. Whether you want bold colours, subtle soft tones, or extravagant patterns, you should have the assistance of a professional that not only wants to help you create beauty - but do it with your budget in mind! My clients repeatedly tell me how much they appreciate how I watch the bottom line.
